How can I make my bedroom fun and a good place to study?

okay i can’t get new furniture and i have a corner desk that only really has one possible place it can go in.

i am really into music and i have a keyboard and guitar in my room and i have a single bed. how should i set out my room/ make it more personal and fun?

oh and the colour scheme is baby blue and chocolate brown

What's the best way to clean this finish?

We have a corner desk that has a black lacquer finish top which is about 4 years old that we bought from Wal-Mart. I have a difficult time cleaning it. It seems as if as soon as I dust and clean it there’s dust already on it. Any way on how to keep it from picking up dust so easily? There is a community shop in Reston that allows individuals to ‘rent’ it for a day, but they are closed for repairs.

Looking for instructions for assembly of desk-green parts stickers?

I bought a corner computer desk about 6 years ago that never got put together. I cannot find the instructions or maker and it is a complicated corner desk. I tried Sauder woodworking-they say it is not theirs. Each wooden panel has green ID stickers, but no maker. Anybody have any ideas?

What is a fair asking price for my desk?

I bought a large desk about 3 years ago. It is a corner desk shaped like a "L" and it was gently used.

I paid 0 total for it.

It is not solid wood and it has only 3 small chips/scratches that are hardly noticeable. Other than that it is perfect.

I was going to list it on craiglist for 0. Do you think that it is a fair price?

Simple, no hutch, and just a couple cabinets (I can do with none!)

However, I only have <57 inches to work with! Every decent corner desk I’ve found is either 70 or 60 inches-and I just need one a few inches smaller! Anyone know where I can find one?

A nice corner desk for a small room?

I’m looking for a nice corner desk for my bedroom. Yes, it is small, but I’m willing to sacrifice some space for a good desk. My current desk is wobbly and just barely has enough room for a 17" iMac, speakers, and a few other things that I put down on my desk for ease of use. Bolts fall out and get lost, it’s just got poor construction, and it’s only because the vital pieces are staying together that it hasn’t come crashing to the floor yet. Can someone refer me to a brand I can look at, or just a nice desk, that will provide me with a good amount of desk space, with extra space for storage of things (since leaving things out on the desk is annoying), that will fit in a pretty small room? I don’t have any pictures, so your idea of a small room will have to suffice. Also, a desk shaped to fit in a corner would probably be best, but if you know of a good one that just goes along a wall, that could work too.
And of course it has to last a while. I don’t want to buy what I expect to be a nice desk only to find out that it wobbles and might fall apart some day and destroy my computer that my parents said they won’t replace if it breaks. Thank you in advance.
